2019 Miami Herald Hero Award!

New year, new awards was no joke. This week I received a 2019 Miami Herald Hero Award!

This is probably one of the sweetest moments in my career so far. This award is given by peers to those who make a difference in the company and that is what makes it just so special. I do not work for the Miami Herald, I am part of the Creative Lab which is under the McClatchy umbrella like the Herald but I work closely with everyone there and to receive such an acknowledgment makes it very humbling and emotional. It is definitely one of the best teams I’ve been part of and I wouldn’t be prouder of the work done there.

Working in publishing, with such talented group of journalists and one of the best advertising teams I’ve worked with, is definitely one the best and most rewarding experiences I’ve had.
